Johnny and Jeanette's Canoe Trip Memories

We remember receiving canoeing instruction from David and Janet, who immediately turned over in their canoe. Amy riding in the canoe with Big John and becoming so upset over their canoeing compatatility that she jumped out upending the canoe. Joe, Katie and family were prepared to head West for vacationing after the trip when John Newman and David threw Katie in the river and ruined her hairdo. The incident at Throwed Rolls when 6 or 7 year old Lauren held out her hands to catch the roll and got hit in the face with it. Bill taking off in Johnny's truck while the rest of the group tried to catch him but many hours later finding out that he had gone the wrong way and headed off to Nashville. David and Johnny being turned over by Stephen and Little Johnny every 10 feet all the way down the river. Keith Newman and Barry McIntosh selling trip insurance to canoers to keep from being turned over. Janet going to sleep immediatly upon return from the river, missing dinner and sleeping until morning.
